Established with the partnership of TOGG and Farasis Energy, Siro’s first battery produced at the Battery Development Center in Gebze, where its headquarters is located, passed all tests successfully.

Siro will start mass production of battery modules and packages as of 2023. Siro will produce a battery-module pack with a capacity of 19.8 GWh, as well as a battery cell with a capacity of 15 Gigawatt hours.
The first TOGG model C-SUV, which will be available in the first quarter of 2023, will use the domestic battery. The Togg facility will be one of the few factories in the world that can produce both its own vehicle and its battery.
30 BILLION INVESTMENT
The facility, where an investment of 30 billion liras will be made, will provide direct employment to 2 thousand 200 people. With the commissioning of the serial production lines, which are still being installed in Gemlik, it is planned to develop battery cells as well as new generation battery modules and packs at the Battery Development Center in Gebze.
