Aware of the challenges associated with accessing customized battery solutions, BATTERA now provides the mobility sector with innovative manufacturing solutions that enhance operational agility. Initial industrial activities have already begun at Katealeaia’s facilities in Irun, where BATTERA centralizes its activities to address ongoing projects for various clients, as a prelude to relocating operations to a 4,000 m2 facility of its own in the region within the next two years.
BATTERA’s business plan, presented officially to the Ekintzaile Program of BIC-Berrilan and the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, reflects BATTERA’s strong commitment to regional industrial development and its commitment to promoting electric mobility.
With international aspirations, BATTERA has presented its initiative at world-renowned events, including the Battery Show in Milan and the MUBIL Mobility Expo in Irun. Soon, it will be present at the Battery Show in Stuttgart, scheduled for next June, where the company will seek to reaffirm its commitment to battery manufacturing on a global scale.
Ander Aramburu, CEO of the Lazpiur Group, and Pablo Núñez, General Manager of Katealegaia, who will play an advisory role in BATTERA, announce that the business project will be open to the integration of new partners. They clarify that, for a second phase, they do not rule out opening the capital to an institutional partner with the aim of obtaining financial support, or adding an industrial partner to accelerate the company’s growth.
