Dry powder coating is emerging as a transformative technique in lithium-ion battery electrode production. By eliminating solvents, this method significantly reduces volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions and lowers processing costs—offering a cleaner, more efficient alternative to traditional slurry-based approaches.
In this webinar, we’ll delve into the critical role of powder rheology in optimizing dry powder processes. You’ll learn how rheological analysis reveals the flow behavior of powder materials under varying shear conditions—insights that are essential for mastering mixing, coating, and overall process control. We’ll also examine how powder cohesion and polymer binder content influence coating quality and electrode performance.
What you’ll gain from this webinar:
- A hands-on look at the powder rheology accessory and its user-friendly operation
- Why rheological testing is key to achieving consistent, high-performance electrodes
- Real-world applications of powder rheology across battery manufacturing workflows
Whether you’re a materials scientist, process engineer, or battery innovator, this webinar will equip you with the tools to refine your coating process and drive better results.
