Wastes Service Group has officially opened a new lithium-ion battery recycling plant.
The official opening ceremony is behind us! On September 10, a state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery recycling facility was inaugurated, which not only features an advanced processing installation but also a unique line for dismantling EV and Plug-In chassis.
The ceremony was crowned by the symbolic ribbon-cutting by:
Robert Makieła – President, Wastes Service Group
Minister Krzysztof Galos – Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Climate and Environment
Prof. Joanna Kulczycka – Head of the Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences
Igor Bandrowicz – Mayor of Prusice Municipality
Sebastian Kącki – Ministry of Development and Technology

Robert Makieła spoke about the culmination of three years of development work, resulting in today’s inauguration of the lithium-ion battery recycling facility. On this occasion, another project was announced: an EV dismantling station in Ozimek, which will enable the Group to close the circular economy loop and achieve a new level of recycling.

The official opening ceremony was accompanied by the conference “Resources of the Future, Regulations of Tomorrow” gathered representatives of administration, science, and business.
The Wszemirów plant – safety, automation, efficiency

The new facility in Wszemirów, named “Battery & E-Scrap Recycling Park,” is one of the most advanced recycling plants in the CEE region. The installation applies Industry 4.0 solutions and automated systems to enhance process safety. The company specializes in recovering critical raw materials, including producing high-quality granulates from electronic fractions and used batteries.
