QEV Technologies becomes the official service partner of CATL, global leader battery manufacturer.
QEV Technologies SL (QEV Tech) and Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) signed a global strategic partnership agreement on the cooperation in aftermarket services.
With the newly concluded agreement, the Spanish company QEV Tech is from now on the authorized service agency of CATL for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and updates of the electric vehicle batteries and Energy Storage System (ESS) in Europe.
CATL is a global leader battery manufacturer and technology company headquartered in Ningde, China that specializes in the manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles and energy storage systems, as well as battery management systems (BMS).
CATL’s battery technology is currently used by electric vehicle manufacturers in the international market, and CATL collaborates with companies including PSA, Hyundai, Honda, BMW, Daimler AG, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo, etc.
Under the agreement, CATL and QEV Tech will facilitate the mutual transfer of knowledge and expertise.
CATL will provide QEV Tech with comprehensive training on battery know-how. QEV Tech will provide qualified battery experts and facilities to offer aftersales services to the clients of CATL around Europe.
