NineDot Energy Announces Douglas Johnsen Hired as Chief Financial Officer
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–NineDot Energy®, the leading developer of community-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the New York City metro area, today announced the hiring of Douglas (Doug) Johnsen as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer.

Doug’s vast experience spans structured finance, finance and operational roles, renewable energy businesses and entrepreneurship. He brings strong institutional relationships across the finance industry and has a successful background at both large and small companies. Most recently, Doug was co-founder, managing partner, board member, and CFO of Navisun LLC, a domestic distributed solar and storage independent power producer. Prior to Navisun, Doug held senior positions at Greenwood Energy, First Wind, GE Energy Financial Services, and Deutsche Bank.
