Megawatt plans field program at Route 381 Lithium Project, Quebec.
Megawatt Lithium and Battery Metals Corp. (CSE: MEGA) (FSE: WR20) (OTC: WALRF) (the “Company” or “Megawatt”) announce it is moving forward with a field program at the recently acquired Route 381 Lithium Project comprised of 40 mineral claims located in James Bay Territory, north of Matagami in the Province of Quebec, and covering 2,126 hectares.
The project benefits from excellent logistics with adjacent Hydro power available and road access. Grab samples of up to 2.77% Li2O are reported.
The work will consist of a prospecting, mapping and channel sampling program focused on the previously identified spodumene bearing pegmatites. The program will also involve regional exploration to identify additional lithium bearing pegmatites.
David Thornley-Hall, Chief Executive Officer commented:
We look forward to reviewing the results of our seasonal exploration work at Route 381.
“We were attracted to the project by its nature in Quebec’s hard-rock lithium district with a number of actively advancing lithium projects in the vicinity.”
