Rechargeable battery experts, Ansmann, has announced changes in its supervisory and management board. The company which considers itself a market leader in the field of high-quality charging technology and also offers customised e-mobility solutions has appointed a 2nd generation family member as new chairwoman of the supervisory board.
Ulrike Unterwandling – the daughter of Ansmann-founder Edgar Ansmann and already a member of the company’s supervisory board for the past ten years – took over as Ansmann chairwoman of the supervisory board on 26 January. She is a business economist specialising in international trade.
Management changes at Ansmann
With immediate effect, managers Thilo Hack and Markus Fürst will form the new executive board on an equal footing. The previous CEO Jürgen Dietz will leave the company.
Thilo Hack was promoted from his previous position as head of industrial solutions to new sales and development director.
Markus Fürst, who has been a member of the company’s board of management since 2010, will continue to be responsible for accounting, production and QA, materials management, IT and the Asian subsidiaries. His portfolio will be expanded to include human resources and general administration.
Before joining the company ten years ago the 51-year-old Thilo Hack gained extensive experience in the international battery market. He has been responsible for setting up European trading and development structures for an Asian company. He will now be also responsible for marketing.
