Green Cell opened an e-bike battery factory near Kraków.
Our first factory was founded in Balice near Krakow. The Green Cell team began assembling batteries for electric bicycles, which will soon be available for sale.
Opening our own battery factory is a very important element of our long-term strategy. The investment will be PLN 12 million, and the establishment of its own assembly line was possible thanks to the dynamically growing revenues – in 2021 alone they reached PLN 279 million.
The factory and assembly process have been fully planned by our team – this makes the plant tailored to our needs and improves production efficiency.
Green Cell Opened an E-bike Battery Factory Near Kraków – From project to product
The first products to leave green cell’s factory are batteries for e-bikes.
The GC PowerMove is a project of our research and development team, everything was also fully assembled in a factory near Krakow. From the very beginning of product development, we have more decision-making and control options – from design to component selection to assembly.
Each specimen undergoes a series of demanding tests – in concern for safe use and the highest quality.
We are only getting going!
By the end of 2022, the plant’s capacity will be 50,000 batteries per year.
We want to deliver the highest quality, develop solutions from scratch, strengthen supply chains, build know-how and further expand our presence in foreign markets – says Paweł Ochyński, CEO of Green Cell.
Batteries are mainly sold to Western Europe – the e-mobility market in Poland is only just developing, but we want to emphasize our presence now.
