Fox has signed a letter of intent with InoBat (www.inobatauto.eu) for extensive cooperation in development, production, and battery design. This ensures long-term battery supply for the next generation of compact and versatile e-cars based on lithium-ion technology.
The agreement includes an extensive collaboration about development, production, and battery design. The cooperation also includes the delivery of an integrated battery solution that includes cells, modules and complete battery sets.
In addition, the two companies intend to work together in the areas of research, development of battery management systems and heat management based on newest lithium-ion technology cells, considering worldwide (e.g. European, Asian) regulations and standards.
As part of this long-term cooperation, fox e-mobility AG will provide InoBat with the necessary engineering data, design information, operational specifications, and the MIA 2.0 architecture, including prototypes and the vehicle system software.
Beyond cell development, InoBat will also provide the engineering data and expertise for the complete battery system. The new battery solutions for this cooperation are representing state-of-the-art technology, which will be tailor-made for the needs of MIA 2.0.
