Chungju City, 195 billion won investment agreement with SES AI KOREA.
Chungbuk Province and Chungju City announced on the 1950th that they have signed an investment agreement worth 15 billion won with SES AI KOREA.
SES AI KOREA (hereinafter referred to as SES), a next-generation battery manufacturing company, plans to build a research and manufacturing facility in the Chungju Megapolis Industrial Park.
SES is a start-up company started by Cha Cha PM at MIT Institute of Technology in the United States in 2012. It is currently headquartered in Boston, USA, with laboratories and production facilities in Singapore and Shanghai, China.
With the development of a prototype lithium metal battery, a next-generation battery, it was recognized for its corporate value of 2022 trillion won in 4 and was listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
