Nezha Automobile and CATL signed a ten-year comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai. Fang Yunzhou, founder and chairman of Nezha Automobile, and Zeng Yuqun, chairman and CEO of CATL, attended and witnessed the signing. Zhang Yong, co-founder and CEO of Nezha Automobile, and Han Wei, co-president of CATL’s market system, signed the contract on behalf of both parties.
According to the agreement, the two parties will launch a comprehensive strategic cooperation from 2025 to 2034. Nezha Automobile will use CATL as its preferred partner for automotive power batteries, and CATL will provide Nezha Automobile with market-competitive power battery products and service guarantees. At the same time, the two parties will also carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of zero-carbon, CIIC integrated intelligent chassis, battery replacement, V2G (Vehicle to Grid), battery recycling, and domestic and foreign market development, to help Nezha Auto realize “technological equality” and let high-tech Quality smart electric vehicles are within reach.
CATL and Nezha Automobile have a long history of cooperation. Nezha Automobile’s first model is equipped with CATL batteries. With this signing, the two parties will start a new decade of cooperation. CATL will leverage its technological advantages to provide leading power battery products to Nezha Auto and global customers to help accelerate vehicle electrification.
