CarbonX Appoints Steen McCollin as Chief Commercial Officer

Steen McCollin brings over two decades of experience in the automotive, energy and technology sectors, with a proven track record in scaling businesses and fostering strategic partnerships. His expertise aligns seamlessly with CarbonX’s mission to revolutionize the battery supply chain by providing sustainable and locally produced active anode materials to replace graphite in batteries.

CarbonX, founded in 2014 as a spin-off from Delft University of Technology, has developed a unique carbon active anode material that matches the cost of traditional graphite while enhancing battery performance and reducing environmental impact. The company’s proprietary feedstock technology integrates into existing carbon black manufacturing facilities, creating a novel structured carbon material that improves electron and lithium-ion transfer.
